Defashion Dorset is Back for 2025!
Defashion Dorset took place last weekend and our founder, Amelia Twine, was delighted to join a panel as part of the programme on the theme of “Making Do With What You Have”.
Defashion Dorset hosted a Hub as part of SFW 2024 and we are delighted to have been part of their programme, which aims to raise the profile of local grown, regenerative and replenishing practices in fashion production and consumption.
The programme, which spanned across Friday 16th May & Saturday 17th May, featured a range of workshops, talks, drop in sessions and demonstrations at the central location for Hawkers Creative at the Hawkers Farm in Stour Provost, Dorset.
Returning for its third year, the festival celebrates local fibre growers and makers and a local clothing culture in Dorset. The team focus on the central question of “We buy locally grown food to support farmers so why don’t we consider buying locally grown clothing?”.
Exhibitors included Woolcraft with Wensleydale, BlueBarn.Life, Henry's Buttons, Made by Jules, Townhill Studio, Laura Basevi and Marina Skua to name just a few.
Full programme is available to view below.
